These images are taken mostly from the 80×80 gallery, with 1 each from 75×75 and 70×70. I included the original “P” image before the version with effect since it is so different.
The effects were all done with basic photo editing software on my tablet (the display is much sharper than my computer monitors, which is why I didn’t edit them on my PC). For most of them I used a single effect with slight adjustments to contrast/saturation afterwards.
Before and After
The original is one of my favorites partly because it looks almost like a painting. The impressionist effect (right side) makes it even more painting-like.
The stardust effect works really well with this image, in my opinion.
The left image is the version in the 80×80 without similarity shading. The “pop art” effect worked OK when I first tried it on the blue/green shaded version – but worked even better on this one.
The magic pen effect is pretty neat when applied to my images. I don’t remember what I did to change the colors so drastically – but it worked out well I think.
The posterize effect for one of the most poster-like images in any of my sets.
Nothing fancy – just a bunch of little adjustments that resulted in a lot sharper image.
The version in the 80×80 gallery is the image that I added effects to before posting – in this case it was a Vignette effect (making the borders darker and highlighting the “hot” center).
The right version also has a light flare effect.
