The Theme Set
The order of the images is deliberate, with my main goal being to make it so that there is something that ties each image to the next one based on the pattern, the colors, or both.
The Transitions
Image 1 to 3
The levels shift from somewhat crazy to simple and perfect. The first two images have large areas on the right-side that are similar in shape/size and colors, with the colors being quite similar to those in the 3rd image.
Image 3 to 5
The 3rd image starts a sequence of what I call “frame” levels, due to the relatively thick, heavily shaded border areas that form the appearance of a frame to the inner pattern.
The patterns shift back from simple to crazy within this sequence.
Image 5 to 6
The 6th level is much closer to the first two levels than the 3rd through 5th levels. It features a very different but similarly complex pattern as the 5th level with both levels prominently featuring yellow and red lines.
The Last Image
The right hand side fits well with the straight levels (#1, #2 and #6), but the left hand side doesn’t. The yellow line inside the horn on the left forms a pyramid-like shape similar to the 3rd level.
