Illusions is the 2nd level pack in Connect the Dots: Shadows. The levels in Illusions have straight line walls that divide each board into 2 or 4 rectangular sectors.
We think Illusions is a great follow-up to Stepping Up because although both are based on very simple patterns, the solutions are entirely different.
Illusions introduce bridges (special tiles where two lines can cross each other) – which you will see in each of the subsequent packs as well.
As with all level packs, the 150 levels are divided into 5 groups of 30 levels, with the size of the board increasing as you progress through the pack.
In Illusions, within each set of 30 levels the levels change:
- The first 10 levels have 2 sectors and 1 line wall. Either the left/right edges or the top/bottom edges are blocked and do not have shadow tiles – you won’t see any levels like this in the rest of the game, as about 99% of the edges have shadow tiles.
- The second 10 levels have 4 sectors and 2 line walls – one vertical/one horizontal, and full shadow tiles.
- The last 10 levels are like the second 10, but also have bridges.
