Board Size: 72×64

Edits:  One, and it’s so inconsequential that I almost lied about it.  Can you spot the difference?

Notes:

My favorite stripey image in quite a while.  The rose line is the obvious hero, but the hidden hero is the really dark red line that is the darkest shade in the dark 168 color theme given the cyan similarity shading.  The line is a lot more yellower in this version

Other interesting versions can be seen here and here.

Edits:  I didn’t change the color of any lines, however I changed the settings in my program to increase the line glow, and then adjusted the levels in Paint.net.  This was the result of my mistakenly playing around with the image on my phone and seeing this.  While I felt the image was too unnaturally bright to use, it did manage to ruin the original image for me.

Notes:  This one looks yummy.

Two levels with one image each this time, both 65×65 and unedited:

A really neat pattern highlighted by the central red line.  The image reminds me of a cartoon depiction of outer space.

The big arrow-ish shape is not the first of it’s kind and definitely not the biggest, but it looks massive given how the top and left sides shrink the board.

The colors work really well with the yellow similarity shading – which still feels new to me since until recently I was only generating images with cyan or magenta shading.

Notes:  This is my attempt to satisfy the criteria specified below of a crazy pattern with an image that is dark and has unusual colors, though each image only satisfies two of the three criteria on it’s own.  There is no primary and alternate image in this case; I only put the dark version second because I felt it made the previous image of the day look better.

Alternate versions (also unedited):

Notes:

After the first two images of the day, I wanted to pick something relatively dark with a crazy pattern and unusual colors for the third.  When I couldn’t find anything I liked that met all 3 criteria and couldn’t decide on an image that met just two of them, I ended up picking an image that doesn’t really meet any of the criteria.  I wasn’t even able to decide which alternate version to post so I posted both.  Oh well.

Just a basic singular pattern with a well-defined center and aquatic colors that I really like.

Board Size: 68×68

Edits:  One – the light azure line that wraps around the turquoise line in the top right used to be the same shade of turquoise.

I like this one because it bright and colorful but in a natural way and not what you would expect from computer generated art.

Although the image is more about the overall look than the lines, the turquoise line is pretty neat and unusual.  It outlines the top, middle and bottom sectors, and even more interestingly does a little loop straight through the middle of the bottom sector.

Here is another version with very different colors:

This one is unedited and almost the opposite of the first and works nearly as well in my opinion which is why I posted it.

The first image is a good example of an image that I like that I probably wouldn’t have looked at twice before  The Natural Line Update:
